Philis y Demophonte : [Spain?] : ms., [16--].

A retelling of the Greek story of Demophon and Phyllis. The poem is divided into 10 cantos. The titles of the cantos are: 1) Naufragio; 2) Las ruinas; 3) Los afectos; 4) Las selvas; 5) Poema tragico: los zelos; 6) La soledad; 7) Las lagrimas; 8) Las armas; 9) Los extremos; 10) Los suspiros. Written ottava rima of Italian origin, a stanza of 8 iambic lines, containing 3 rhymes, invariably arranged as follows: --a b a b a b c c.
